FOCUS: 

Given that the robot can carry out any type of work thanks to its flexibility (they are called anthropomorphic robots because of their human gestures) the level of danger is given by the work that we delegate him.

Can you imagine a robot that works near you with a drill to perforate a plate? This is a danger task that cannot be certificate without using other security equipment. In fact even if the robot is collaborative it cannot change its movements according to the environmental conditions because it cannot see and decide what to do.

It’s essential to classify the danger level of the robotic installation (in technical language “cell”), especially to evaluate what the robot is handling and if the movement of the robot is very close to sensitive parts of the operator. Following the results obtained by the evaluation may be preferred to use the robot with security barriers of the type 4.
